When Tesco invests several million pounds in expanding your business on the high street, as Harris + Hoole has found out.
The founders, who started off running a deli in Richmond, say they turned to the supermarket chain because banks wouldn’t lend them money on affordable terms. It’s a complaint I’ve heard from other cafe owners.
